About Andrewex UK

The mothercompany Andrewex Tvärskog Timber AB is located in the Southeast of Sweden with a total production of 70 000m3 timber per year. We are also one of the biggest producers of finger jointed timber in Sweden.

In 2022 we made a decision to open our UK subsidiary, Andrewex UK ltd, with a dedicated stock facility in the port of Sheerness, Kent. This will be up and running early 2023.

Product range

We currently hold the following product range:

Untreated C24 – in longer lengths 6.0m+, solid and finger jointed
UC2 treated C24 – in longer lengths 6.0m+, solid and finger jointed

Logistics

We have regular sailings from South East of Sweden into our UK stock facility at Sheerness.

We use a local haulage provider that offers a 24–72 hour delivery service to most destinations within the UK mainland. Our experienced UK team will take care of all of your stock requirements to ensure that goods will be supplied in full and on time.

Environmental

At Andrewex we take sustainability and environmental credentials very seriously. We work closely with everyone, from local forest owners and environmental accreditation schemes through to logistics suppliers to ensure a process which is sustainable and efficient, adding value to our clients.

For example:

Our local haulier won GREENFLEET Fleet of the Year 2020 for their reduction in CO2 emissions and are finalists in the Motor Transport Awards 2022 for the Low Carbon award for their reduction in CO2 emissions.
The majority of their loads are delivered by gas vehicles running on biomethane which produce 75% less CO2 than a conventional diesel truck.
